mine did something similar. i wasnt able to restore it so i toke it to the apple store and told them it needs to be restored. they will ask you do you have windows or a mac and you tell them which one and then they will restore it and set it and then they will tell you to make sure you have the latest version of itunes downloaded.

You can actually do it with your iPod, as long as you still have the songs on your old computer, and the best part is you dont even have to download anything. Heres how in easy stepsbrbr. When your iPod is plugged into iTunes on your old computer, check off the box that says quotenable disk usequot. Then you can add music to it using Windows Explorer.brbr. Find your iPod in windows explorer. Drag your music from your iTunes library into your iPod, using windows explorer. If you dont have enough space, restore your iPod, dont add any songs back thru iTunes, and start again at step . brbr. You dont always have to sync to add songs to your iPod. When you connect your iPod there should be an option that says quotmanually manage your iPodquot or something like that. Select that box and you should be able to select the songs you want to add and drag and drop them from his library to your iPod. That way no synching is involved.

It depends on the type of battery, I believe older types like NiCad and NiMH batteries will last a lot longer if you fully discharge them before recharging. Also I have read that fully charging new batteries before their first use will also help to extend the life of the battery.

Its better to let it go as low as you can before you charge it. Obviously if I need the phone the next day I will recharge it before it drains but dont make a habit of recharging everynight or anything. It really will extend the life of the battery.
